I have always found enjoyment in teaching, and I have over thirteen years of experience in teaching Japanese in private lessons. I am from Chiba, Japan (near Tokyo) and I love to share my language with others. My favorite students are those who plan to visit Japan soon because they have a vested interest in learning the language. I strive to provide my students with the best service I can, and I work hard to meet the needs of each student. I listen to my students' goals and then support them as they achieve their goals. I am a great tutor because I am creative, fun, and patient with my students. In my free time, I enjoy blogging, cooking, kayaking, music, and swimming. I also like to read Japanese books. I earned a professional music degree at Berklee College of Music.
